Best friends became life partners for life on the backdrop of gorgeous beaches and outdoor festivities. That’s our NRI couple from Newyork Rahul and Nivedita who have known each other for over 11 years. They planned their destination wedding in Goa, Zuri White sand resort and casino.

They met in college became friends and their strong foundation of friendship turned into relationship. They faced many ups and downs together and this just fortified their relationship and somewhere along the way they realized that they are just meant to be. Also they got along quite well with each other’s families as they believe in close knit families.

One instance we want to share about Rahul and Nivedita was living in Newyork they faced difference with India as the biggest challenge and they had to coordinate with the planners in the midnight. So it took them months to get things finalized and arranged and since everything was finalized over the phone or internet they were quite apprehensive about how things would turn out in the end. But luckily they had a beautiful destination wedding like they always wanted.

They always wanted a destination wedding which was intimate and small and they limited their guest list to the closest 140 people. They chose Goa not for its dreamy beaches or perfect weather but also it was close to their heart as they both originally from Goa.

So we covered a two day functions. First day it was mehendi and sangeet and their chemistry was just electric. Also the event organized by Daikon events was just mesmerizing. On the second day it was the grand day. Their wedding day was gorgeous with clear skies and the beautiful scenery. Nivedita had the most beautiful bridal entry and the mandap set was all dreamy. The party didn’t end there and they had a grand reception.
